Python + keyboard inputs?

Does Python work with Keyboard inputs, I am an upcoming Game Developer on creating RPG and I want to know, will Python work with creating RPG Games?

Will work.. but the performance will not be really great .. try using python with a library like pygame(also including everything you need for keyboard input) you also have others alternatives .
