Hey Sololearn, During setup auto pay why money deducted? [ Solved ]
I was thinking of trying a 14 day trial with Google UPI to try to setup and 4200 rupees deducted even on its first day after the 14 date trial. I found it not good, I was thinking of trying a 14 date trial not purchasing a subscription. And i cancelled the subscription and still did not get refunded. Please resolve this issue, i am just a student so this money matters for me which sounds expensive.

I filed a complaint with NPS, contacted Apna Sathi government service, and spoke with both the Google Pay and Google helplines.
After following the necessary procedures, I finally received a refund from Sololearn, to whom I had also sent multiple emails.
Therefore, please be aware that if you are considering a free trial, you might very well end up losing money due to what appears to be a phishing auto-payment system.
Exercise caution before providing your account, card details, and UPI PIN."
It's definitely important for people to be careful with free trials and to understand the terms and conditions, especially regarding automatic payments. Thanks for sharing your experience and the warning.

Contact Google Play support directly to request a refund, as they manage billing for Sololearn. mention that you intended to start a 14-day free trial, but were charged โน4200 immediately and cancelled right away
Use this link:-
https://support.google.com/googleplay and select "Request a refund"

Glad you got your refund! Just so you know, SoloLearn doesnโt get the payment right awayโit takes some time for Google Play to process everything before SoloLearn sees it. That might be why their response felt slow.
By ChatGPT- SoloLearn canโt directly control or refund payments made through Google Play. Since Google handles billing and subscriptions, any refunds have to be processed by Google Playโs system.

You can report to sl through info@sololearn.com
As I see your amount has been deducted through the play store since you used google upi.
So the best option is contacting googleplay
Refunds for app subscriptions( especially purchased through via UPI ) are usually handled by Google play
Here is the link https://support.google.com/googleplay/gethelp

I think, the issue seems related to a Google Play subscription rather than SoloLearn. I hope you get a refund๐
